I read in the latest Woman and Home magazine that vibration platforms were bad for people with osteoporosis.

This is not correct. The MDD rating Power Plate has is the lowest their is. The same as your hairdryer.

Proper MDD certs can only be achieved if the product has a standard of 5+ years. Not a single nut or bolt can be changed.

So by proxy any company bringing out a new model every few years can not get one. Also Power Plate keep moving their factory from China to India.

Started to get info on vibration machines (Galileo, vibrogym, powerpate) as wanting to purchase for domesic use & also my husbands work is moving to a new larger site & they have constructed into the plans a gym. He wants to submit a request for a vibration gym and will need some level of tech info, warranty, service, one or two engine, G force, vertical uniform or vertical alternate vibration etc etc. Your response will be appreciated.

All of them fail in comparison to the VibePlate, if want to save money and get a far superior plate then the choice for you is the VibePlate.

It has been proven that Power Plates “Medical Advisory Board” is basically fake. Even using Doctors names without permission ( was forced to take down due to legal threats ) . Or claiming people are Doctors when they are not.

Just one of many good reasons to never trust them.

Power Plate has now MDD2a Medical Certificate (2009) which follows US and European norms. This medical certification allows doctors to prescribe Power Plate directly. I prefere Power Plate

I prefer VibroGym, because they have a medical certification, which is important for every physician, but also FitVibe and Galileo have one – I suggest one of them to be on the safe side
